So, the idea is to:
1: Brighten it up a bit, on the text areas, and leave the border some shade of grey/gold that works with the Footsteps in the Sand photo of my dad's on the header.
2: Organize out the story-jumps into character/genre headings. Billenius, Scorpio, the CRAPP tales from the EPA's lesser known sub-office, Steampunks, Scifi, other fantasy stories serielized/posted here.
3: Shake up the other tabs to allow a cleaner look to the top of the page.
4: Not drive away readers (so maybe an echo blog back to the old look, for those who cannot stand black text on white backgrounds), and pull in some more.
5: Update the WIP tab.
6: Update the bio, clean it up, with scissors and a bulldozer if necessary.
7: Drive more traffic (just to see if it does, this is the 2016 Blog Traffic Experiment).
And....
8: Give me something to do with organizing the writings, even showing my hand on some planned but not moving yet projects.
9: Maybe, even maybe, set aside the more risque tales yet to be posted on an "adults only" blog. Which would allow one tale, maybe two to see electrons beyond the opening/sample chapters heavily cleansed for general consumption.
Well, sound off if you have more ideas, I'm open to suggestions, just remember, I have to like it as well, or be out voted by a landslide of opinion if I don't, to make certain changes. And ol' Cousin Murphy cannot be invited in with his pet gremlins and glitches in the redesign. Oh, and remember, my programming skills in HTML, et cetera, are rated as about Zilch, zero, nada, nil.
