Guitar of Spiritual Tension

Tension tears my chords
the ones of soul
the physically quivering sinews
even the one below.
I wait for signs
on computer or phone
that this long drought
is at last over
and a job exists
bearing only my name.
Hell, I might share
if only to relax
but until that moment
you could strum me
like a human guitar
if only I was
able to be tuned.
