Warm Electrons from a Friend Warm My Soul - A poem of beauty and friendship

Cold day.
Fingers and toes
tingling in the air
despite the layers
while wandering.

Enter haven
books all around
and wifi grants connection
down which flows
friend's images.

Then Warmth,
not from without
but a single picture
of a rainbow
thaws soul.

Beauty's Power
from Nature's Domain,
while gazing upon it
you get glimpses
of Heaven.

Thank you
for that vista.
Rainbow over churning ocean,
fenced off beach,
slate sky.

Thawing comes
working outward slowly
to turn mouth upwards
thinking of friends
as Salvation.
